Gulmit Young Star Club Green FC wins Gojal Champions League 2018

Gulmit Young Star Club Green FC has won the Gojal Champions League 2018. The winners beat Shimshal Banafsha by 1-0 in a final attended by hundreds of football lovers from all over Gojal. Izhar Ali of GYSC Green FC scored the only goal in the final to give his team victory.

The tournament was organized by Gulmit Young Star Club & Students Welfare Organization (GYSC).  Gojal Champions League 2018 was officially sponsored Youth Affairs Department, Gilgit-Baltistan. The aim of the tournament was to promote positive and healthy activities among the youth Gojal.

GYSC striker Khalid Kareem has scored 9 goals in the entire tournament and remained the top scorer. Israr Karim, another GYSC striker, was awarded the best goalkeeper award. Nasir Ali from Shimshal Banafsha was awarded man of the tournament award. Atti ur Rehman of GYSC was awarded the best player of the tournament award. Izhar Ali from GYSC remained the man of the match.
